Who we work with
We're a fee-only fiduciary for tech employees with a lot of company equity. Most clients come to us with a big equity decision ahead: a lockup, an IPO, a tender offer or an exercise. We plan it alongside their taxes, investments and long-term goals, then stay with them for the years that follow.

— Who It's For
Are we a fit?
You're likely a fit if:
- You have $2M+ in company equity, including options
- Your next big decision is coming up: an IPO or lockup, a tender offer, exercising options, selling a large position, or leaving your company
- You want ongoing help with all of it: your equity, taxes, investments and the plan that ties them together
We're probably not the right fit if:
- You want a one-time plan or hourly advice
- You'd rather keep your investments managed elsewhere
- You're earlier on, with under $1M in company equity. Our free Academy and newsletter are a better place to start.
We take on 1–2 new clients a month, so fit matters on both sides.

Common questions
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. We're a fee-only fiduciary: paid only by our clients, never by commissions or products, and required to act in your best interest.
Do you work with clients outside North Carolina?
Yes. We're based in Cornelius, North Carolina, near Charlotte, and work with clients across the country by video.
Where are my investments held?
At Charles Schwab, in accounts in your name.
Do you prepare tax returns?
No. We plan your taxes all year: when to exercise, what to sell, and how to reduce, defer or eliminate capital gains. Your CPA prepares and files your return, and we work with them directly.
How often will we meet?
Twice a year for full reviews, plus whenever a decision comes up: a lockup release, an exercise window, a job change.
What's the minimum?
Our minimum annual fee is $12,500. We're usually the best fit for people with $2M or more in company equity. Between $1M and $2M it depends on your situation, and the fit call will tell us both.
I've left SpaceX. Can you still help?
Yes. Leaving SpaceX starts a 90-day window to exercise your vested options, and you may still hold a concentrated position to sell down. We plan for both.
What happens on the fit call?
It's 30 minutes. We'll ask about your equity, your timeline and what you want help with, and explain how we work. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
